We just returned from 6 nights at the YC Conceirge, we got the connecting rooms we requested, yet our rooms overlooked a low roofed building. The resort was beautiful, and a nice surprise Thursday when we woke up and saw the tree in the lobby.

SAB was nice, a little overwhelming for my 3yo. Service was good and the lines were not long in the park until the weekend. Any questions about the YC, I will be glad to help.

Glad to hear that you had a good time! We will be at the YC concierge in just a few days!! We're interested in seeing how the lounge has changed since last year.

I remember last year at this time the resorts had their trees up and we thought that was so cool!

Got to start packing!!!

We really enjoyed our trip, the tree was up in the lounge and they had christmas music playing. We are already looking at next year, but I think we are going to go with a monorail resort. It will be easier to get to the Magic Kingdom with the little ones.

The food offerings are great at the YC. One night we munched on the appetizers for dinner and headed to Beaches and Cream for dessert. The breakfast offerins were plenty, my daughter definetly got her fill on donut holes.

Next time I would book a water view room, but other than that our trip was lovely.

Thanks so much for your post. Any and all information that you can share about the YC is greatly appreciated. We will be there in Jan. 2003 and just can't wait. We also have a garden view room reserved. Do you really think it is worth the extra $$ for the waterview? My three kids will be with us they are 9, 8, and 5 years old. How did you daughter like the selection of foods, my kids are really big eaters and we are hoping that they will like the food they offer. Thanks again for your information. We are glad to hear you and your family enjoyed your stay.

jolary03...I personally think that a waterview is worth the extra $$$, because I'm an early riser and just adored having my morning coffee on the balcony and looking out over Boardwalk and some of Epcot. In the evenings would could catch the higher fireworks from Illuminations. Really, the Boardwalk view is just spectacular.

I'll be checking into YC Concierge in 21 days !!!!:bounce: :bounce:

Yes, I feel waterview is a nice upgrade because other than that there is not much of a view around the YC. The food offerings at Conceirge Lounge were as follows:
Breakfast:
Donuts and Donut Holes
Coffee Cake
Sliced Melon (Canteloup, Honey Dew, Watermelon)
Fresh Fruit
English Muffins
Bagels
Toast
Cereal (Fruit Loops, Special K, Cruncheroos, Rice Krispies, Raisin Bran)
Oatmeal
Mini Muffins
Danish
Cheese Pockets
Coffee, Tea, OJ, Cranberry Juice, Apple Juice, Milk

Other Times
PBJ, Chips and Salsa, Veggies and Dip, Pudding, Gummy Worms, Cupcakes, Egg Rolls, Custini wrapped in Bacon, Sushi, Dips and Bread, Flan, Cakes, Pastry Tray, Cookies.

Hope this helps, there was plenty of food to snack on.

Sorry that you didn't have a good view. But the rest of everything sounds nice.
