Just got back from WL May1. This was the first time I've gone this time of year and the crowds were awful. I have decided to not go to WD during this time (April 24 - May1) again. My family usually goes in the Fall and that is when I will plan to go back for next trip. We stayed at the the WL which is a beautiful place but this time our room was on the 2nd floor and the last thing I heard at night was the commodes flushing and that same sound woke me up each day. It sounded like it was coming from next door and above. If I stay there again I will request the 6th floor. We stayed on that floor last time and I do not remember any noise.
We had a good trip but the crowds were just to much.
This was my 4 yr son's first trip and just dealing with the crowds while pushing him in stroller was tough.
We took him over to Chef Mickey's for character breakfast and he enjoyed that but I thought the characters kinda rushed off before
you could get pictures. I had been there before 5 yrs ago when my daughter was 5 and they took lots of time with her but this time they just seemed rushed.
The very best part of the trip was our last night we went on a
MG Magical Wishes cruise. It was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone if you can get eight people to go.
My son loved seeing Captain Hook and after we got back from the cruise Peter Pan was waiting on the dock. Seeing Wishes from the boat was great, we stop right in from of the castle and had fantastic view.
