We got a little bit ill with the transportation to the MK with buses and the boats. we have been to the WL 4 times and this was the worst with the trans system.

The boats were just slow due to so many folks going to the MK, so that is understandable, and the monorails were running great, but the buses were awful!! We waited Monday nite 35 minutes at the MK to go the WL and some man in front of us had to call the resort and complain!!! Sad thing is, we are close to the WL!!! Then a bus came and we were on our way.

It seemed like the buses to the MK were just slow in my opinion. Everything else was great!

So how long was it for MGM, Epcot, and AK for buses? Did you wait long for them at WL or the park?
Lesley

I would also like to hear about the bus transportation to the other parks. How was it? Were the waits long?

I have questions! We are going on our first WL visit (well, any deluxe visit) in about 2 weeks! Would love to hear more!

What kind of room did you have? We have standard booked (CM rate, only thing available).

All rooms have balconies, right? Are there chairs out there? Table?

Was the pool overly crowded? Plenty of chairs all hours?

Did you dine at any of the places? Quick reviews?

Did you have your own car as well? Is the parking lot a trek? We'll have a rented car.

Did you take part in any water activities? Boating? Fishing?

Can you view Wishes from anyplace near the Lodge?

Did you visit Ft Wilderness at all? Is it a long trek over there?

Sorry for so many questions!!!!!! Thanks for offering!

Great that you enjoyed your trip.

I too have questions.

What kind of beverages are there in the refillable mug station at WL?

How long is the ride from WL to MK? Does it stop in FW after or before WL?

Thanks,

Julie

OK-Who's Humphrey and why should we rub his nose :rotfl2:

Humphrey is the WL mascot. He is the bear on the bottom of the totem pole right outside the mercantile.

People rub his nose for many different reasons..but mostly for luck or extra pixie dust.

I am a proud Humphrey nose rubber.

OMG!! I was busy today...lets see if I can catch up!

Did not wait long to go to AK MGM or EPCOT for the buses....just MK(quick note--we did have to go the GF to pick up other guests on way to other parks---minor delay)

I didnt go to concierge floor. I was on 5th floor (I didnt see any construction anywhere going on)

What kind of room did you have? We have standard booked (CM rate, only thing available). We had a INNER COURTYARD view of BAY LAKE. Non smoking 2 queen beds.

All rooms have balconies, right? Are there chairs out there? Table? Yes, balconies with table and 2 chairs.

Was the pool overly crowded? Plenty of chairs all hours? NOt too bad crowded. plenty of chairs....kids in HOT TUB at all times.

Did you dine at any of the places? Quick reviews? We ate at Wispering Canyon Cafe for the all you can eat buffet and it was GREAT! Very yummy...BUT you have to be in the mood for hooping and holering at the WCC. That is a rowdy place.
Roaring Forks----typical food court, although I have problems with it being SO SMALL.

Did you have your own car as well? Is the parking lot a trek? We'll have a rented car. HAD OWN CAR. DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU PARK IF YOU HAVE TO WALK A LONG WAY.
Did you take part in any water activities? Boating? Fishing? WE HAVE RENTED WATER MICE BEFORE AND THEY ARE ALWAYS GREAT! (no fishing...I LIVE IN ALABAMA. I FISH ALOT HERE)

Can you view Wishes from anyplace near the Lodge? I DONT THINK SO...YOU CAN HEAR THEM, BUT NOT VIEW THEM FROM WHERE OUR ROOM WAS

Did you visit Ft Wilderness at all? Is it a long trek over there? WE HAVE BEEN HORSEBACK RIDING THERE BEFORE...JUST A CUTE LIL CAMPING PLACE.

I DIDNT RUB THE NOSE!!!!!!!!!!!! :sad2:

COKE, SPRITE, FRUIT JUICE, COFFEE, UNSWEET TEA AND WATER IN ROARING FORKS FOR DRINKS.

THE BOAT RIDE FROM WL TO MK....WENT TO FW FIRST...SOMETIMES. AND VICE-VERSA.

PHEWWWWWWWWWW!

Next time I wont get behind!! SOrry Im so late!!!!!!!! :earseek:
