Of course we are already planning our return trip. We took it slow for my son so he wouldn't tire so quickly and told the kids that if we missed anything this time we would have to come back to see it! I will be posting pics later this week, so keep an eye out.

I hope you all had a good holiday and wish the best for the up coming year!

Welcome back!! (again) Lol. Hope you had a great trip. :)

Great pictures - thanks so much for sharing. And it was nice meeting you last night. :)

Great pics! What kind of camera do you have and what settings did you use to capture the fireworks?

Wow those pictures are great! What kind of camera and film did you use? The quality is outstanding. Thanks so much for posting.

Those are BEAUTIFUL castle pictures! WOW! I haven't been able to figure out how to take night pictures so clear like yours. You captured the fireworks perfectly! Great job!! :)

And glad you already have another trip planned! LOL! This is the first time in years I don't know WHEN we are going back. Hoping for 2006, but just can't pick a month!

My camera has a setting for "fireworks show", but all it really does is set
the camera to no flash and a slower shutter speed.

The problems with that setting are that you really need a tripod to make
good shots, but since I don't have one, I just brace my elbows into my
sides to be as still and stable as possible.

If you don't have a way to slow the speed, I've found that just having
the flash turned off is fine, too.

In a pinch you can use a fence or a table I have balanced my camera on the handle of my stroller.

I used the low light setting which is why some pics are blurry(no tripod and I was shaking). When the castle was lit by ground lights, I used the landscape setting, no flash either time. I have about a dozen that didn't come out, I just kept shooting :).
