Hey! I just came back from my latest trip back home to WDW! :teeth: It was absolutely awesome in all aspects, if anyone has any questions about anything just ask! KK Happy posting!

:flower3:

Oh well we didnt go on it this time but the trip before we did. Anyways its where the former Alien Encounters was and its set up very similar. Its really fun and can be a bit scary at times (for little ones) But remember to watch out for the chili dog! lol

OK_how big is AK and how long does it take you to walk from place to place. Such as EE to Safari. Is it a long walk from Africa to say Pizzafari? And long did it take you to tour the park?

Did you avoid parks with EMHs, or did you go? If you went, what were the crowd levels like?

I'de hafta say AK is quite large, but truly it doesn't feel as large as it really is. I felt like I walked more in Epcot.....but anyways once we got to EE it was closed and then we headed to Kali River Rapids. From there we went to the safari. I'm not extremely sure how long it took to go from EE to the Safari because of the stops in between but i'de say a good 10-15 minutes. We actually only spent a half day at the park so we didn't get around to all of it. We spent a little over 3 hrs in Dino Land, Asia, and a a bit of Africa. Well I hope this helps, and have fun in AK!

How were the crowds? The weather? Did rides that recently underwent rehab for "clean-up" look better? Were the parks clean?

The crowds were mild, when we arrived at MK in the morning We headed straight to Splash Mountain, there was a mere 10 min wait! Epcot was VERY uncrowded. We never waited in line for a ride for any longer than 30 mins, and no horrible food lines either. The weither was awesome in the morning and mid way through the day you could feel that HOT Florida sun.....it did get high in the 80's a couple times. The only ride that was under re-hab on our last trip was Small World, Anyways they changed it a bunch! The colors the decor but everything looks really nice and brilliant. They made it so you couldn't hear the dolls moving more than the music so that was nice. Although POTC started being refurbished on our first day at WDW, just our luck....And yes the parks were clean. =D

OF COURSE I DID! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: There was one downfall, I didn't get to Space Mountain, ITS TERRIBLE!

No Space Mountain?? Oh My.

I do have another question:

At AK we have breakfast at 8:20 the park opens at 9:00, how far of a walk will it be from Donalds Breakfast to EE? (kinda vague question I know, but it is late lol)

Wow!!!! Sounds like an AWESOME trip (minus the Space Mountain ride!) So glad you had a good time!! :thumbsup2 Thanks for sharing the info with us!! Welcome back!

What did you think of how the Castle was decorated? We're going the first week in October and I've read the decorations will be down by Sept 30th. I'd like to at least see it for one day so maybe we'll arrive instead on the 9/30 and stay at a value resort for the first night and then move over to the BWV (if all everything goes as planned).

Do you think a full day at Animal Kingdom is necessary? And how did you like Soarin?

Just wanted to add that the decorations are thought to be staying up through 2006.

What were some of the TS meals you had? Did you have ADR's or walk ups? :goodvibes

Well I really liked how the catle was decorated, but from far away (beginning of main Street and town square) You can't really tell that the little gold thingies around it are characters. Every one of our former trips to WDW since AK opened we did a full day at AK, but Ak closes at 5:30 PM so there's always time to go to another park and ride a couple rides, see the fireworks and such. On this trip we didn't spend a whole lot of time there, we got there late because we left our tickets and finally once we found the tickets and got to the park it was 11:45 AM And we had planned on doing half of the day at Ak and the other half at MGM. Though i really think a whole day for AK is the best way to go. Hope you have oodles of fun! LOL :cool1:

Any other significant rehabs/closures besides Pirates? Was Everest open during your AK visit? We're leaving in a couple of days.

Other than Pirates everything was up and running. Although when we made it to AK EE was closed, it was open before we got there and a cast member mentioned it would be open the day after that day. Well I guess its soo random when EE is open or closed that'show it is with soft openings, oh well have fun!

Did you go to the EMH's?? How were the crowds?

I'm really curious because we can't decide whether we should avoid them or try them.
