Just back from WDW and they have cut hours....

Don't know if this was posted earlier, but on Saturday night when we returned to our room, there was a message that said that the hours had changed for the following parks:

Epcot World Showcase now opened at NOON.

Animal Kingdom hours were now 9 - 5.

Just thought this was interesting information and didn't know if anyone knew if this was for the whole month, season or what.

It seems that the World Showcase hours will either be an hour later or an hour earlier in the future. I guess that they're still settling this one. Thanks for the info.

I'd wondered how WDW informed on-site guests of these changes Saturday and Sunday. I am imagining at least some off-site guests who didn't get the word, or "regional" visitors driving in from a few hours away, getting a big surprise Sunday morning, especially at the Studios (EE park for the day).
