Just back from WBC... thoughts

I hope every single one of you that has had a/c problems will email, write and call the management. It is so hot here in Florida right now and July and August aren't even here yet! There is absolutely NO excuse for the a/c not to be working properly in these units. I can't even believe people would go and take the chance of having a/c issues. If they get enough complaints, maybe they will wake up and do something about it. No way would I stay there after hearing this, although, we always stay on property and now I know one reason why!

It is crazy for you to say these things happen and everything breaks down, even the air in most of our homes and we only run them from one to two seasons. What there’s no excuse for is the maintenance crew saying all of the two bedrooms are that way because it just isn't true. From here to tripadvisor, I have only seen someone say this maybe 3 times out of hundreds and hundreds of reviews. I have read more complaints about onsite than at this resort and WBC is much cheaper. Sometimes things are going to go wrong and you have to be able to be flexible to go with the fix like move to another room and if it happened again demand an upgrade, but work with it because onsite things ain't so fine and dandy.

We have been 2 times with no issues and I agree with PP, its nuts to think every unit is affected. We do live in a mechanical world and things break - at BC, Disney Resorts, in the parks...wherever. While I agree its sad and a total PITA, we are going back in July and looking forward to it. If it happens to me, I will request to be moved or upgraded for the inconvenience.

They have wonderful amenities and its so convenient for a fraction of the cost and way more space than onsight. Always been pleased with our visits. I am grateful we have a fabulous place to stay and extra money in our pockets.
 
The one and only time I stayed at the CBR our room had a faulty AC. The unit leaked and our entire carpet was soaked. They tried to suck the water out while we were at the MK the next day, but it was damp our entire visit. Didn't want to repack everything with two small kids to move to another room. Staying on property wasn't the best for us.

I'll take my chances on the Bonnet Creek. It can be the luck of the draw sometimes.
