Found the most comfy sandals at Walmart today! They are Earth Shoe brand, leather upper with a comfy suede insole. I got the thong style but there was another style also. They are really cute and seem to offer good support--guess what?? They were only $10.00! I have had a really hard time finding comfy sandals to wear at Disney this July. I've bought (and returned) Birkenstocks and Clarks. These have em all beat for comfort. :cool1:

You may want to check these out! :flower:

Oh I almost forgot.. I got rain ponchos 2 for $1 and a $25 Conair hair straightener for $5!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Gotta love it!

I'll have to check WalMart.
I'm trying like crazy to find a comfortable sandal.
I have a comfy pair of Clarks my sister gave me, but they don't have a strap on the back. My foot kept falling out of them, then I tried wearing them to the mall to break them in only to end up with a bruise on the top of my foot.
Last year I wore a pair of simple sandals called Cobbie Cuddler from KMart. Those sandals worked great, but this year our KMart only has styles with big wedge heals. Not for me.
I'm going to WalMart tomorrow to see what I can find.

I have a pair of Earth Sandals and they are the best! :goodvibes I wear them all the time. I have had this shoe for going on 2 years and it is still in great shape. It has kept my feet very comfortable through 2 disney trips. We are going in December, and my good ole Earth sandals will be making the trip with me :flower:

They had a style with a back strap also. Now I really think I should go get a second pair....

Yep! You should! Backstraps are good when you're going on rides where your feet dangle. Can you imagine being on the ground and having someone's shoe fly off and hit you?

I love the look of Walmarts Earth Shoes. But thats all I can do... they don't

come in a WIDE :confused3 :sad2:

I have a pair of these also. They are great. I wore them every day during my May WDW trip!

On Soarin', they make everyone wearing sandals w/no back strap take them off and leave them on the ground! The first time I rode, I was sitting in the middle tier, and couldn't understand why so many people on the upper tier were barefoot! :rotfl:

I have a hard time finding comfortable sandals too. I'll check out the Walmart ones, although I generally need wide sizes, so I don't know if they'll fit.

I definitely wear a wide shoe, and have no problems with the Earth shoes. However, I did find that taking some moleskin helped this past time. For some reason the sole bothered my foot more this Spring than it did last Fall.
But, they are definitely comfy for me most of the time.:)

I have been wearing Earth Shoe sandals for years now and they have wider versions in the men's department and you can't tell that they are mens either.

They are so comfortable, I wear them from April til November. I'm glad other people recognize they are comfortable as well. Nice price too!!

I went to my Walmart to try to get the hair straightener for DD12. I couldn't find one on clearance, and the $18 and $28 ones rang up full price :confused3 . Can you elaborate on the style/model?
Thanks!

The striaghtener was a Conair with glass plates, 3/4 inch barrel, auto shut off. It may have been the last on the shelf. Walmart is weird about somethings. I bought a candlestick lamp one time for $5. (About a year ago.) Just last weeek I saw the eact same lamp for $19.99.

:confused3

Good luck! :flower:

I just bought a pair of the Earth Shoes sandals at WalMart today. I got the style with the back strap as I have very small feet and the ones without the strap are too hard for me to walk in. I always end up with leg cramps with the backless ones.
I normally wear a size 5 but got the last pair of 5 1/2 and they fit just fine. I do have to agree, the are comfortable and will be going to Disney with me in September. Those and my Tevas should get me thru a week of walking around all the parks.

I bought some in wide widths at the Walmart in Williamsport, PA. :flower:

But my local wal-mart in MD does not have the WW sizes.

Perhaps if you try a few different stores.

They are comfortable for everyday walking but I had them on last night and did a lot of walking at the Baseball game and they gave me blisters on the ball of my foot :sad2:

(You might want to break these in before trying any Disney trips in them.)

Yes they do come in Wide. I bought a 71/2 wide tonight in the style with the strap. I bought a pair 2 years ago in a 71/2 wide. Keep looking they do have them.

If they gave you a blister then perhaps the fit was not right? Blisters tend to happen when the shoe slides around on your foot so if you got a blister on the ball of your foot,, then you must have been moving around in them quite a bit.

I have worn them for about 5 yrs now and never had a problem. They get wet and I don't chasnge and stil never a prob.

I've been looking for a good pair of sandals. I'll have to try these out. Thanks!
