Just returned from a seven night stay at VWL. The weather was in the 80's and excellent! Best weather we have ever had in February at WDW. The parks were very crowded - we took advantage of the new extra magic hours. Magic Kingdom was open one night until 3:00 a.m. Our kids wanted to go so we all took naps from 8:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. and went to Magic Kingdom at midnight when the park closed, except for WDW resort guests. It was certainly weird getting on the boat to MK at midnight. We stayed until 2:30 a.m. and pretty much walked onto all the major attractions, i.e., space mountain, splash mountain, etc. It was alot of fun!
We had some great meals at Boma's, Cindy's, Chefs De France, Alfredo's, Mama Melrose, Sci-Fi, Liberty Tree, etc. For some reason you always seem to be hungry at WDW
- must be the constant smell of food, i.e., fresh waffle dishes for ice cream sundaes being made at Main Street ice cream shop, etc. We had purchased the new Disney Dining experience which is now available to Annual Pass Holders - well worth it. It cost $50, and we saved $20 at every meal for a total of $140 - plus, it is good for a year!
The trip was excellent. Unfortunately it had to come to an end, and we had to return to snowy cold weather in upstate NY
