I get the refill mugs because I think they are a bargain, and we never can have enough at home, and although I do use the coffeemaker in VWL for that first cup or two, I do love walking in the morning to RF. I love how it is peaceful and cool - it's my fav time of day no matter where I am I also carry my mug to the car so when we get back to WL I can stop off for a soda (another excuse to walk thru that beautiful lobby). Even though I fill the fridge with canned drinks, I find my mug incredibly useful!

Why the mugs????

Well, if you are sitting by the pool and you are a diet coke fiend like me....why on earth would you want to walk all the way up to your room to use soda that you had to buy? Just walk over to RF and put in free soda. Makes perfect sense to me.
Just back yesterday from OKW and brought our VWL mugs with us....just plopped at can of soda into the mug on the way to the pool and filled up with ice at the hut, poolside. Kept my drink cool and looks great. They are offering a Mother's Day mug at OKW right now. (refills there are $1.65...approx. with mug....still beats the reg price for a drink)

However,....I'm reading lots about coke and what it does to you....even the diet kind. if you put a large t-bone steak in a bowl of coke...it would be gone in two days....not good. Starting a new diet today including water. Still love my mugs.

Thank you so much for your thoughts! We are leaving tomorrow to celebrate my birthday at VWL, and I read your post just before leaving for work today! I can't remember the heat -- I am wearing my winter coat again today...
