Took our first trip to our home resort VWL...without kids. Ours are in college, taking finals while we had a great time! We had a 1 bedroom on the second floor half way down...kind of a long walk from from elevator but not bad. I woke one morning, opened the sliders to the deck and said "Ah love that mountain air!" DH said "what mountain air...we're in Florida"...oh I forgot...
The room was almost perfect...there were some stains on the sheers under the drapes...I was tempted to take them down and give them a tumble in the washer...just to freshen them up...but I resisted...I hope they get to it, they could use a washing. Other than that the room was perfect. Christmas decorations were beautiful, parks were empty. We took a long bike ride to Ft. Wilderness...beautiful bike trail. Enjoyed the outdoor spa at the quiet pool on a few chilly evenings. Had a spectacular diner at Artist Point, visited Boardwalk and Beach Club but felt partial to VWL. All are beautiful. Thanks everyone for the great advice and information. It all helped make our trip that much more enjoyable.
Holiday greetings to all!
