Just back from Universal and Harry Potter

We were lucky enough to get into WWOHP on Friday morning. We stayed until they kicked us out! We were among the first in line for Forbidden Journey and waited about 15 minutes until the ride opened. I read the reviews on here about the ride....but I was in no way prepared! I don't think you can even explain how cool it is until you are actually on it!

We went through the shops...samples butterbeer and pumpkin juice. I even bought a chocolate frog! We saw a couple cool performances.

The castmembers are great! While waiting in line a "student" was chatting with us. No matter what I said he stayed in character. So I said to him "wow...you are good...you don't break character". He look at me like I was crazy and said "I have no idea what you are talking about...I'm a student here".

I've decide I'd like to move to Florida and live at Hogwarts!

The butterbeer was awesome! I tried it both frozen and non-frozen. It tasted like butterscotch to me I actually loved the pumpkin juice too! I brought home my pumpkin juice container and it is proudly displayed in the living room!

I haven't eaten my frog yet I'm too excited just looking at it! I bought WAY too many souvenirs...but it was so hard not to!

We were there too Friday morning and stayed pretty much until they closed the gates. We didn't even expect the HP area to be open. We were just walking by on the way to JP and noticed HP was open. What a surprise!! We loved the Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice too - and the kids had to get wands.

Oh I had to get a wand too I got Sirius Black's wand. I've had it out about 10 times looking at it. No idea what to do with it...but it seemed like a good idea at the time!

We are going in November and even my mother is excited about the WWOHP! This is her one request when we go to WDW. So, I better figure out how we are getting from AKL to IOA. Glad to hear how much you liked it and I am gathering it is worth the journey over there. Can't wait for ButterBeer!

Oh....am I really going to be forced to admit how much stuff I bought I got VERY caught up in the moment...that is my story! I bought a stuffed Crookshanks....I bought two t-shirts....I bought a Harry Potter journal. Okay...and as I'm writing this I think my fellow disboarders need to hold an intervention

Dawgsgirl: It was AWESOME! I could have spent my entire day there and been happy!

hmm...Halloween costume! I hadn't thought of that but it sounds good. It might mean one more trip to get the right accessories!

I told my co-workers I was moving to Florida to live at Hogwarts and ride the Forbidden Journey at least once an hour
