To answer your ?'s, sorry took so long but my infant is teething, eating all of the time 24/7, etc. so I have no time on the boards lately!
The crowds the weekend of 2/6 to 2/10 were a little busy, I'm assuming because of Daytona 500 and the cheerleaders (oh were they loud at Whispering Canyon Cafe!) Kind of ironic name! On the 11th we stayed at the hotel. On Thursday the 12th, we were at Epcot and nobody was there, it was fantastic! Then Friday the 13th, the beg. of Pres. weekend, it became too busy, actually had some waits. In the future I would try to avoid pres. weekend and other large group times. That one day at Epcot I could see what everyone says about winter slow days and how nice that is.
I wish I could do a trip report, but I don't have time. In short I will say the highlights and lowlights...
Highlights...
1. WL was a beautiful hotel with everything we needed, wish we could have spent more time there.
2. My meals were great as usual, esp. Le Cellier, Artist Point, Cindy's Breakfast, Rest. Akershus, Chef Mickey's and Breakfastasaurus.
3. Very impressed with Mickey's Philharmagic, and my dh says Mission Space was good, he wouldn't let me ride.
4. Watching my children experience Disney (including my 4 1/2 mos old) and seeing the magic light up in them!
5. Due to lack of humidity this time of year, we and the animals at AK were in abundance and in much better moods!
Lowlights...
1. Should not have gone to WDW with a non-sleeping, breastfeeding infant. I was exhausted to the point that my vacation was a blur!
2. Mousekeeping could have been improved.
3. Took some friends with us for half of the trip who refused to get into the Disney Magic, or even understand it, which my dh who is not a Disney person couldn't even believe they wouldn't give it a chance!
4. The weather a couple of the days was so cold, I could have sworn we were not in the state of FL!
5. Did I mention the non-sleeping infant....
I received some wonderful tips from these boards which I will post on the tips board.
