We were at the Swan from 3/13-3/19. Now I understand why the Swan/Dolphin has its own cheerleaders! This is a VERY nice hotel. We really enjoyed our time there. The room was big and the 2 sinks were very helpful as we all tried to get ready in the morning. The staff was friendly, effecient and helpful. We never waited for any service or question to be answered. I can not think of a single thing that was wrong. The very best part of being there was the location. WOW! The boats are the only way to go, and even the bus to MK was never crowded. We walked back from Epcot twice just because it was a nice evening and it is such a nice walk around the lake and over the boardwalk. We have found a new home at WDW, we will definatly be back at the Swan, hopefully soon! Any Questions, just ask.

Where was your room? What kind of view did you have? Did you try any of their restaurants? Inquiring minds want to know.

welcome back :) glad you enjoyed your stay at my favorite place ;)

Hi glad you had a terrific time.

Can you tell me if the $8.00 resort fee covers going to the fitness club to exercise with the weights. Or do you have to pay as you go.

Thanks,

Deb.

Yes, the two hotels do have quite a following. I write the Faq I loved it so much. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay!

Yesm the $8 fee includes the use of either fitness club at either hotel. I think the fe is worth it for that and the phone especially if you need to use a laptop for work or play while you are there.

Our room was on the 4th floor near the elevator. Outside our window we could see the front of the hotel and Tower of Terror. My son loved that! The rooms were really quiet, we never heard the people next door. The only place we ate was Tubbies, which was good. It is the food court over at the Dolphin, but very easy to get to from the Swan. All the restraunts looked nice but we mostly took the boat to Epcot to eat. Which was wonderful. I think the 4th floor has not yet been reavated because the carpet outside in the hall was wrinkled and the chair in our room looked a bit dirty (it was a very light color). I am not saying the room was not clean just that it will most likely be one that will have some work done in the future. We really did enjoy everything about the hotel.:D

Recently there haas been a lot of talk about "cigerette smells / cigar smells and the swan in the resturants, or common areas in the lobbies? Could you give your opionion of this? Planning to stay at swan twice this year, but have asthma and kinda worried about this when I read it, Thank you for your opioion! MKY

mkymouse4ever, I did not notice any smoke smell at all anywhere. I am not a smoker and the smell usually bothers me, so I think I would have noticed it. Maybe there were more smokers there a few weeks ago or something. Anyway don't worry. You will really enjoy this hotel.:D

I really remember the distinct smell of cleaning solution in the swan, a sorta sweeet smell that was really great. I couldn't decide if it was the floor cleaner or the furniture polish. I never noticed any smoke at all, and i would remember that!
