Let me know if I can answer any questions. Stayed in a corner studio suite and saw what a king balcony room looks like.

Hello, how was your stay at Swan? We will be there next month!

I have a few questions if you don't mind -

1). Is self-parking far away?
2). Do they have any space for DH to pull over the car for 5-10 min, mainly for check-in, pick-up?
3). Any good restaurants?
4). Do you know about the walk to Boardwalk, Yatch Club? We will have dinner at Yatchman Steakhouse, so wonder if we should get our car and drive over there, or just walk?

Hi,
Not the OP but we have stayed at the Swan many times the most recent Dec. 14th through the 17th and will be back on Jan. 26th.

1. Self Parking is not far away and it is $9 a night plus tax.
2. When you are arriving you can pull up under the covered area unload the bags and then your husband can go and park the car while you head to the check in. You can also valet for $16 a night I believe.
3. Restaurants - Il Mulino is outstanding and Shula's across the way at the Dolphin is also great.
You can take a very slow boat or just a short walk over to the YC for dinner at the Yatchman's Steakhouse. You will be able to walk over to the BW, YC/BC and Dolphin as well as EC. You can also walk to the STs but it is a little on the long side so we usually take the boat.

There is really no need to drive unless you are going to DTD or to one of the non-EC area deluxe resorts.

Tiffany, thank you so much :)

If the walk to YC is short, I'd prefer that rather than getting the car. Shall I expect 15-20 min walk? I have two little ones so may walk slowly.

Another question (asking on behalf of DH) - He wanted to know if there is a self-serve computer terminal at Swan/Dolphin Lobby, for hotel guests do online flight check-in and print boarding passes. He found most of the Starwood Hotels offer that, but not sure if Swan/Dolphin has it.

Hi,
The walk for my husband and I is about 5 to 7mins walking what I would call normally. We do not have children but I would guess that they do walk slower so accounting for 15min sounds right. It would take you longer to get the car in the self parking lot and get the kids situated and then drive over to the YC and park in the self parking lot and walk to the Yachtsman then to just walk over from the Swan.

There is a self print terminal and for Jet Blue just ask the person working the concierge desk, and they will take care of Jet Blue and any other airline that has online check-in but not listed on the stand along terminal.

Just wondering if you asked for this room or were you upgraded to it?
Did you like the revolving front door entrance, we didnt
Are they done with the construction? This was at the front, back and by the bus stop area.

Did you visit the coffe bar at the swan? Do they have regular coffee or only speciality beverages? Do they offer the refillable mug there?
Thanks
~Mary

Another option: Take the "Epcot" boat from the Swan/Dolphin dock to the Yacht/Beach dock.
