We just got back from 11 nights at the Polynesian. Some of the highlights:

1. We had 1st floor connecting rooms in Fiji. We had asked for 3rd floor, but were even happier with the 1st floor. The rooms were huge and VERY clean.

2. The new volcano pool slide is a lot of fun. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

3. We ate at the Kona Cafe for breakfast, O'hanas for dinner and went to the Luau. All three were awesome!

4. Rode the water mice. Lots of fun!

If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer them.

Welcome back glad to hear you had a great time. The Poly is a great place to be in Disney! Thanks for the report!

COuld you report on your room? Fiji supposedly was just rehabbed and I know a lot of us on this board are wondering what the newly finished rooms are like.

Thanks

The rooms were very nice and clean. As far as amenities, there were two queen-sized beds (so they say), 1 day-bed, a table with two chairs, one sink and a hair dryer. The closet was HUGE. It also had an iron and board in there. The only thing that was small was the drawer space in the armoire and a tiny TV.

There was a sliding glass door that led to a patio with two chairs and small table. We were overlooking the marina, with a back view of the volcano pool.

PLEASE give us more details on the color scheme. Was the carpet a dark green? How about the bedspreads? Did they have a pattern? What color(s) were they? Is the furniture still the rattan and bamboo? Were there small canopies over the beds?

Did you have any problems with the air conditioning sensors?

Thanks for any additional details.

I'm glad to hear you had a great time! I will be checking in there w/ my mom in 5 days and I was wondering when the pools close? Thanks!

and I'm thinking about requesting Fiji.

Did you have any regrets about being in that building? Do you think it would be a good choice for a family of 5? (Me, DH, DD 11, DD 8 and DS3)?

Did you spend much time relaxing at the resort?

How was the pool?

Did you do other activities at the resort?

TIA!!!!
