Jennifer's "auntie flo" came on the last day, in the morning as we were leaving the ship.

LongIslandMouse said:We did have an awsome time! We got to the dolphin discovery at 11:30am to check in and it started to pour buckets. But our "encounter" and "Royal Swim" didn't start till 3:30pm so we went to the beach via their cattle car and had lunch under a thatched roof restaurant right on the beach. As we were finishing, the sun came out and me and ds 13 went snorkeling which was neat. The beach there is rocky and there is no real beach where you can enter just to play in the waves, so beware. It's 90% a snorkeling beach, except for one smal area we only discovered as we walked back to the dolphin area. Take note, don't try to use your American Express card for the excursion since they are having issues with their system. It's a long story, but we ended up paying cash which was very frustrating since we didn't want to use our cash at that point. But both the encounter and royal swim was great and fun and I think, worth it. DH and I had done it in Xcaret a few years ago and it wasn't as good, they didn't give you enough time with the dolphins. Hope you book it direct, I think it is cheaper than thru DCL.

The best part was that he gave me a promotion and our three year old is free.My only concern is making it back to the ship. What time did the ship leave Cozumel? Did it take you long to get back?
LongIslandMouse said:Let's see, it started about 3:30 and ended about 4:30 but we went inside and watched the video they took of us (and bought them, $29 and $59) and looked at all the pictures they took (and spent $100 on them too) and we got in a cab right out front about 5:15 and was back at the ship in 15 mins or so. Miguel was very nice and didn't charge my 3 yo. either. Also, if he sends you an email to confirm, watch out for the coupon attached which is good for $$$ off of pictures/videos. Take the confirmation with you just to be on the safe side, they are still unorganized as they just re-opened. Have a blast!

Also, did you guys do the Encounter and the Royal Swim at the same time? How did that work out? We have 1 adult and 1 child that want to do the Royal Swim and 3 adults and 3 children (under 8) that want to do the Encounter. I really want to book, but am having fears of being left behind!!
Also, how did the park look? I was also concerned that things would still be in a lot of disrepair from the hurricane.
Thanks for sharing!!
