if anyone has any questions. We stayed in the North Garden Wing, rooms 7101 and 7102. The 2 closest rooms to the door closest to the Tower building. Great location!

Went to the Happy Haunts event and MNSSHP. Both were great! Crowds were extremely low and so were the lines. Longest wait was Test Track as usual.
RnR - 5 mins
ToT - 10 mins
BTM - 10 mins
Splash Mtn - 10 mins
Kali River - 5 mins
TTBAB - 0 mins
Primevil Whirl - 10 mins

Weather was cooling off by Friday when we left.

Are these rooms on the 1st floor?? Thanks, Joan

Hi - were you there as SOG guests? We stayed in Room 7188, right across the hall, last March and loved the location, and the little patio, with the ducks!

We have ressies again, but this time, garden view, not standard. We are hoping to be on the first floor again in the North Wing, first corridor, but know that SOG is taking up a lot of the North Wing. CRO did assure me they do not have the whole building, and we definitely want North Wing - DH has severe asthma, and South Wing is smoking optional!

Joan - yes the rooms were on the first floor right near the elevator and stairs. The next door was the sliding door leading to the outside. These rooms were 25 yards from the bus stop, the food court and about 50 yards from the pool. Very convienent.

CRCrazy - no we were just there for the Halloween week and requested that building on the room fax. The small patios were nice and being on the back side we had waterviews of the lake.

Thanks Buzz for the info. We have reservations for the CR in July. I requested near the tower and I have paid for a water view. I will have to call back and have 1st floor added since this is what I would like to have. This will be our first stay at CR since 1987! It was our first trip to WDW and was just my hubby, myself and DD 2years old! We have visited every year since(sometimes more than once ;) and have been DVC members since 1993. We have wanted to stay at the Cr again and with SOG rates so GOOD we thought this would be our chance! There are 5 of us now too,so we need the bigger rooms! How was the pool area it looks great from the lounge area(we usually wait here to dine at Chef Mickeys)?? Joan:smooth:

Mario - Thank you SO much for this info! I have been lurking these boards lately trying to find our more about the CR wing rooms.

My DH and I are going with my parents in May and although being to WDW many times before, this stay-at the CR will be a first for all of us...

My mother lost her eye sight due to diabetes last year, so this room location sounds REALLY good for her, as to be by the elevator, on the first floor and near the tower would be a PERFECT location. How close to the monorail and buses is it? Were they connecting rooms?

Thanks in advance for the heads up!!!
