Just back from the Boardwalk Inn Club Level

Thanks for the great pictures and review. We'll be staying in a BWI CL room in just 12 days. I hope we're lucky enough to get a view like yours. I read that they've started renovations on the snack bar at the clown pool. Did you see anything going on while you were there?

We went to the clown pool and I didn't see any construction going on, but I did go down the slide! :rotfl: LOL!!!

Thanks Erika, missed reading the live report, but I appreciate you keeping us up to date on your trip. Not sure why, but Coronado is my least favorite Mod. Best are the PO Riverside or FQ. Lucky you to be able to extend your trip:goodvibes

We did POFQ last year, just my Mom and I, and we didn't love it. It was fine, but the food court was too small with limited choices. Sharing a bus with POR seemed to take a long time and was crowded. But I guess that can happen anywhere. Coronado's buses were never crowded and we enjoyed the Pepper Market. :thumbsup2

Great pics

Thanks for the wonderful review.

We can't wait to stay at the BW in Oct and are excited to try the lounge.

Your view looked amazing, could you see the high Illuminations fireworks? Was it noisy with the boardwalk right outside your window?

We could see Wishes and Illuminations and also hear Frozen fireworks. So our nights were very lively! ;) The boardwalk didn't seem too noisy, we enjoyed the people watching.

Thanks for the info!

We have stayed at the YC and really liked staying in the EPCOT area. We had fun exploring the Boardwalk at night and thought we would stay there this next trip.

Great pics!!! Nice upgrade! Love the CL pics. Now if I could only get over the :scared1: Clown Pool!!!

Loved your pictures and review! I'm heartbroken that BWI CL is not available for our stay in November :( We were hoping to tack on 3 nights to our BWV stay celebrating my parent's 40th anniversary, but there's no availability at all...I will keep checking but right now we are booked at the Swan....

I was hoping to stay there next month for a quick F&W trip, but they didn't have a single room category available. :( So I found a room at the YC. Which is still close to the festival but not really what I was hoping for.
Keep checking back, especially around the 45 day mark when people have to make their final payments! :thumbsup2

So nice to read such positive reviews!! :)
Do you happen to have a listing of what apps are served each night? I looked on the concierge thread and its not listed. :)
Im trying to decide if I should switch my anniversary ressie to Bw instead of Yacht.

I was there last January and they always seemed to have a bread salad and a bean salad as the cold selections. Also vegetables and cheese, of course.

The two hot apps rotated: things like meatballs, chicken skewers, some type of sauteed spicey chicken in a pan, these little cone-shaped quesadilla wraps that held some type of chicken/tomato mixture, etc. The food had a Kouzzina flavor profile. I thought the choices were good not great. hth

Thanks for the great review and pictures of your visit to BWI. I've stayed there twice and its one of my favorites. Actually, I missed BWI CL during our stay at Royal Palm Club Grand Floridian this past January.

Really only negative for me was a bit of a hike from the lobby to our room. But, other than that its wonderful.

I also enjoy Coronado Springs. Its a great choice if you want to stay moderate. I'd like to try their business class.

Great advice :thumbsup2 It's a wacky trip because we are there 10 nights, 4 of which are booked in a 2 bedroom at the BWV. It's great but it also limits how we shift our other resort options. I decided to fly a few days early with my parents and the kids because my DH's travel schedule. I was able to get YC SV CL today for the 2nd and 3rd night but I think we will just have to stay at a value the first night. It the last Sat night of F & W so I'm not holding out hope for YC opening up. Hoping BWI opens for the last 3 nights!! It's a lot of moving but nothing I can do about it at this point because of availability.

Funny I'm dealing with a similar situation. We decided to fly a day early (9/25) and I can't get YC or anything near Epcot. So we decided to take a later flight and just sleep at Art of Animation one night before YC. I've always wanted to check it out so it will be fine. But I will keep checking YC just in case. :)

I hope YC opens up for both of us!! I won't have a car (DH will rent one when he arrives) so I guess I will just have to ask Bell Services to transfer bags to the YC and take a cab to the YC? I was thinking that's the easiest option with 2 young kids and my parents :scared1:

We will rent a car at the airport, it makes resort switching so much easier. :)

We left our luggage with bell services after we checked out (even the laptop) and went to the parks. Then we just went home to the new resort when we were done.

Another time, we got a cab and took our luggage ourselves to our resort. Much cheaper than renting a car.

Thank you so much for sharing your great photos it looks like you had a great time thanks for sharing
