Had a wonderful time for our first stay at the BC. They messed our ressie at first but because of our trouble and their mistake we got a free upgrade:thumbsup2 . The grounds were amazing, all the christmas decore was absolutly beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way. Beaches and Cream in one word: INCREDIBLE! The food was great, we had the kitchen sink ice cream(photos to come). Only 2 complaints the whole trip.

1) The bus system was terrible. We were late for a breakfast ressie, the bus took 50min to arrive, with several 40min waits throughout the week. There were a couple times the BW bus came 2 or 3 times compared to our 1. So We did take that bus and walk over sometimes. Thank goodness we only had to use it to go to MK,AK and DTD! We walked to epcot and MGM.

2) I know it is seasonal but it was 85 degrees all week and SAB and the pool bar were on lockdown at 8:00pm which was rediculous. Because of this the small pool was overly crowded. Other than that the trip was a success. All the parks were very nice as far as crowds went, the longest we had to wait for a ride was 20min. We never even bothered with a fastpass! I will post picture soon, we need to unpack!

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Isn't Stormalong Bay amazing? We loved this resort.

I'm surprised to hear about the bus problem, because we were just there in October and I don't think we ever waited more than 15 minutes. I think 10 was more typical. We needed to get a bus for LOEMH and were out there at maybe 7:10 or 7:15. I was a little worried there wouldn't be many buses at that hour, but we made it in plenty of time!

Thanks for the report. We are dying to try the BC and said it will be our next resort. I have had one thing holding me back and that is the bus service. I know they share with YC and BW which annoyed us while staying at the BW. Sorry to hear how long you had to wait. That doesn't make me hopeful for good bus service.

Glad to hear that you had a wonderful time. We stayed at the YC for the first time this past June and had a great time. The pool was amazing but as you said they closed at 8:00pm. Our last night there they were open until 10:00pm. :furious: We only took one bus and that was to DTD which took us a good 30 minutes. After that we always took a taxi everywhere. Much easier and faster for us.

We stayed there last October, and had the same to negative things to say about the Beach Club. The bus service to MK and AK was horrible, and we were disappointed that they closed the pool down so early. Being able to walk to Epcot is a huge plus, but you can get that by staying at 3 other resorts as well. We won't stay there again unless we have our own car.

Here are some photos as promised.

This was our view.

Thanks for the nice pictures. Was that the Kitchen Sink everyone talks about? That thing was hugh. Did you guys finish it?

It was the kitchen sink. The lights dim and sirens go off for everyone who orders it, and the servers chant. It is a very popular item there.
