Hi all!
We had a great time in spite of all the stress beforehand it was a wonderful cruise!
We got to MCO early on Friday. Checked with the Radisson to make certain that they were open. Had lunch with friends at Olivia's at OKW, accidently bumped into my DVC guide and then drove to PC. Lovely drive, liked the Radisson, clean neat and good service. (Lots of FEMA folks staying there too.) Saw lots of damage but many of the local businesses were open and trying to get back to normal.
We dropped the car off at Budget on Saturday morning and took their van to the terminal. No problem we were the only ones on it. Too early to get in to the terminal so they dropped us at the white tent in the parking lot. One of the porters showed up soon after and accepted out luggage and we walked across ther street to the terminal. Met mrssltg (Erin) and her husband and daughter on the line. They let us in at 10:15 and started checkin soon after 10:30. Easy checkin. We borrowed a DCL wheelchair for my Mom who can't stand for long periods. And we were able to board soon after they opened the gangway.
Great lunch at Parrot Cay. Got to our stateroom at 1:30 and luggage arrived by 2:00. My Mom and DBF (Disney best friend) adored the verandah. I think my Mom was out there more than she was inside! Had a mini DIS meet at the Mickey pool and met nearly everyone from our meet list.
We were told we would be having 2 sea days then San Juan on Tuesday and St. Thomas on Wednesday. Well 'Jeanne' changed that and they announced that we would be going to Nassau on Thursday and CC on Friday the first ones there after Frances!!
CC was brown but we had a great tiem! What a wonderful place!
The service was superb. The food was very good. The crew could not do enough for us. And as for the crazy mixed up itinerary we were safe and having a wonderful time and I didn't really care where we went as long as we were on the Magic!
Feel free to ask questions! (here or PM) And for those of you who may have been on board I am the now known as the infamous, crazy DVC lady who has many answers!
Take care! Off to start the wash!
