Well we were on the last cruise that got sick, and we were amoung the ones that got the "Magic"? It was not as bad as the media is reporting, DCL crew members were the best, and as I said to the media I would rather be on the Disney cruise sick than at home sick in bed. They took excellent care of us, even brought me Chicken soup and soda when I started felling better. Our server personally brought me the soup when he found out that I wanted something to drink.
We had 10 in our group and 4 of us came down with the flu. We have not been contacted by DCL to offer us a cruise to compensate us as the media is reporting, we did try to contact DCL and could only leave a message. Would we go on another cruise? YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce:
We used FL TOURS to transport us to and from the Airport, DCL, and WDW, and they were great. If Andy from Fl Tours reads this thank you for all of your help and your prompt arrival at each place. I would recommend them to anyone going to Fl. for anything.

I am so proud to read another positive report on the 11/23 cruise.

Thanks for the update, Dennis! I'm sorry you guys were sick but am glad the crew took good care of you. Hopefully your next cruise will be a healthy one! :)

Sorry you got the virus but so very glad you made such a good recovery and were able to write something positive about it.
Forgive me if I go on here a bit, but here's just another plus about the outstanding service and crew - our adult son was hospitalized in a coma during our February cruise and we were called by my frantic 72 year old mother on a "ship to shore" call.
The crew knew something was wrong (we were paged!). They (from our servers and hostess to guest relations - most especially Carol Ann from DVC) truly out did themselves in making sure we were able to get calls in and out, were made comfortable during the time and kept us as "destressed" as possible.
We felt like we had family all around us.
Thankfully, our son recovered after a few days, by then we were home and grateful to the Disney crew for their outstanding caring.

You can "make" people do their job but you can't "make" them care.

Stay well now!!
Rae
