We had a great time although it was cold (for us anyhow). Spent 3 nights at CBR and then 4 at BC. CBR was ok but as far as moderates go we prefer POR. But to be fair we never felt like it was warm enough that we wanted to swim so we didn't get any time at the pool which may have made our stay more blah. Check in was s-l-o-w but I can't really blame the staff. There was a lady in front of us checking in and raising a huge fuss since she had faxed her room requests and apparently the room they had for her was not to her liking. She got louder and louder and it was uncomfortable to be around. The CM deserved a bonus that day. Finally another CM waved us around and then checkin went smoothly. We were in Jamaica building 45 which was fine. Close to bus stop and not far over the bridge is the food court. Thought the food in the food court was just so-so. We actually thought the food was better at All Star Sports.
We loved the BC. Didn't have the best room as far as view goes - it was 1st floor with a view of people walking out the main back door towards the lake. The bathroom seemed huge compared to CBR which was a plus. It also was an easy short walk to our room from the lobby which helped when we were tired and feet hurt at the end of the day. CM's were VERY friendly. We adored being a short walk from the International Gateway at Epcot since we love to spend time in the WS. Beaches and Cream was so nice to have when we wanted a fast food type meal or ice cream. FAR superior to any food court food wise. We really enjoyed staying in the Epcot resort area. I will write dining reviews amidst doing laundry. Reality - blech! :earseek:

Hey Epcotgal, I agree it was COLD this weekend! We were at the YC and were amazed to see the lifeguards sitting by the empty pool in sweats watching the steam rise on the water. DH commented that he guessed that they were there in case a DUCK drowned since that was all that we saw in SAB!

All the lifeguard would hear would be, "AFLAC!!!"

:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
That is too funny! I actually live in Columbus GA which is AFLAC's headquarters. It was actually founded here so as you can imagine we as a city are overwhelmed with AFLAC!

Welcome back and thanks for the review. :)

Any update on the status of Stormalong Bay? Does it look like it is close to being finished? Thanks :)

The pool that the slide lets into was drained down and they were shovelling the sand when we were there. There were a lot of laborers doing some type of plastering/concrete work, but mostly standing around trying to look busy and keep warm  . A few brave moms were in the sand pool (Part that was still running) with their toddlers. I honestly would say that March 1 would be pushing it. Maybe April 1.........
