Just back from SOG - any questions?

Thanks for the information about the buses and the golf cart shuttle. We might just utilize that. We do have an early morning breakfast at AK one day and so will probably use our car for that morning to make sure we get there in time.

We are going in October and we have made more plans for this vacation then we have ever done previously. We are doing MNSSHP, Fantasmic w/dinner, Character breakfast and DH & I are planning on going to Pleasure Island to hit a couple nightclubs.

When we were there in May there was a family trying to buy a S&S pass that was shorter than their length of stay. They wouldn't let them do it, and kept referencing their reservations in the computer and how it needed to be the length of your stay. The family was there for awhile trying to argue with the poor woman b/c they wanted to break up their vacation and do Sea World or Universal. They finally left in frustration with no passes in hand.

They would let you deduct your travels days from the length of stay i.e., you are there for 7 days but arriving late and leaving early so you can get a 5 day S&S pass. That is what we ended up doing.

I hope that this helps......

:)

Can you still have your park purchases sent to the SOG front desk? I love that because I like to shop and then I don't have to carry my packages around.

Yes, they will still deliver park purchases to SOG. Just don't do it too close to your departure date - it usually doesn't get there until the following afternoon (the day after you purchase it). Unfortunately they won't deliver alcohol. We purchased a couple bottles of wine in Germany and Italy at Epcot, but they will deliver them to package pickup at the front of the park and we just picked them up on our way out.

For anyone working on the math, I have still figured it will be cheaper for us to buy the APs at $371 and then purchase 2 extra water park tickets at approx. $30 each rather than buying the PAP. We will be going twice within a year and will visit one water park each time. Of course, we will not do Pleasure Island or DisneyQuest. Adding those, it might be cheaper to do the PAPs for $486. Good luck to everyone on getting the best deal possible. Hurray for SOG!

do the rooms in the old section still have the half walls??? I know the new rooms don't.

We stayed in the old section in May and yes, they still had the half walls. Enjoy your stay!:sunny:
