Just back from RPR -- wonderful stay!!

just returned from a four night stay at the BEAUTIFUL Royal Pacific Resort!!! i have very few complaints and many compliments. we arrived there at about 2:30 on July 4, even though we knew that we might not even be able to check in. In turned out that our rooms were ready and we were able to go right up to them. We even got a great view of the space shuttle taking off when we were unloading our car. at the club level lounge, we received excellent service from the always friendly staff. the food was great, although it would be nice if they changed their breakfast up a little. there are so many pastries and sweets and we would like to have more of a eggs, bacon, pancakes type meal. our rooms were excellent and had the best view of the pool/parks. this was because we called ahead and requested this. each day was great and the 360 cinesphere was awesome. the fourth of july fireworks were even better though. i havent ever seen anything like it. overall it was another great stay at the RPR and, as always, it was sad to leave it!!

I'm glad you enjoyed RPH so much. That must have been so cool seeing the space shuttle taking off. Any suggestions on a good viewing spot for the 360 sphere? We'll be there soon, can't wait.

we tried a few different spots for the 360 and ultimately there are many to choose from IF you get there soon enough. there were so many people that we had a hard time finding a place. first, we watched from Central Park sitting in the grass. then we watched across from that empty building next to Shrek and Mel's. We saw many other good spots also, but no matter what, you have to try to get right on the railing to be able to see. i hope this was of some help!!

it started at 9:45 every night and it was the same thing each night, which wasnt a bad thing. everything happens so fast that i caught something new every time!!

Sounds Great

I just finished making our dinner reservations for Margaritaville and Hard Rock Cafe. We are dining early enough that we'll have plenty of time to enjoy walking around City Walk and finding a good spot to view 360. Thanks again for your help.
