We just returned from RPR. We stayed from Monday a.m (10/6) and left Saturday a.m. (10/11). We had 2 rooms on the club level. We booked back in the late spring and got a good deal. I checked periodically, but the rates never dropped and wound up going up a little. The hotel was very good. This was our 2nd stay at the hotel. I'll give a short report focusing on the pros and con, with a longer one to follow (hopefully) in the near future.

Pros
*check-in was great, manager came out and said hello, not sure why I'm just a small fry
*received nice bowl of fruit in the room one day
*nightly turn down service dropped off some complementary Figi water each night
*convenience of club level, particularly for breakfast
*FOTL of course!
*parks and pools were great fun
*never had to wait long when we took the boat shuttle
*ate at Islands a couple of times and food and service were good
*all staff we encountered were very pleasant including housekeeping and pool staff
*liked the theme of the hotel
*we also went to the Hard Rock pool one day and had a great time.

Con
*just one that relates to the club level -- on Thursday a very boisterous group of about 15 adults or so checked in. Unfortunately, in the evenings from 5 pm on (Thursday & Friday) they converted the club lounge into their own bar moving all the big tables together and then yelling back and forth at each other across the tables. Some of the language was bit coarse. I don't want to go on about this, because we still had a great time and this was a small part of our vacation. The parks and pools were a lot of fun.

Sounds like a fun trip!!! We're going back to the RPR next month.

Thanks for the pros and cons. I'm looking forward to reading more. How were the parks when you went?
