And I have to say that we really enjoyed it! We didn't listen to the critics, and took the girls anyway. They loved it! IT was a bit predictable, but then again, most "G" movies are. Anyway, they've left it open for more sequels to it... hope they make a PD 3!!

My DD7 and I went last night. We both laughed and enjoyed it very much. I liked it better that the first movie or either I've seen PD too much lately on the Disney Channel.

My husband and I saw the movie yesterday and really enjoyed it.
Girls 5-10 will love this movie!:)

I just got back from seeing it. We loved it. It's nice to see a light-hearted movie that is appropriate for young girls. Oddly enough, my ds4 wanted to come see it too (I think he was just in it for the popcorn - he ate a bucket full and went to sleep).

DD5 and I just watched the first one and we both liked it. We also said we wanted to go see the second one - DS9 said we could go alone since it seemed more like a girl movie! :)

I really hate it when the critics pan movies...It is so hard to find ones to take the young kids to. Earlier in the summer we saw the Garfiled movie...now I will admit that it was rather pathetic and you could tell what was going to happen in the first five minutes...but both my kids liked it. Wish they made more G-rated movies for kids.

We saw it Friday night and enjoyed it. :D I really like the cast of actors and hope they can make a PD 3 if the storyline can hold up.

We saw it Wednesday night and I thought it was really cute. I would kill for her closet and her clothes!

It's funny, but we all thought Anne Hathaway looked much prettier in this movie. Something about her was just really stunning.

My DD12 wants to see it we are planing to take her to the drive in on Saturday night!

there cant be a pd3 now because she is the Queen, its now the Queens diary.

We saw it Saturday, me, the DDs (12 and 9), a friend and the friend's 6 year old niece.
The girls loved it. I thought it was totally predictable and I was pretty bored, sorry.
I did think there were some cute moments and the one guy is pretty good looking, but I was telling the 12 year old what was going to happen 5 minutes ahead.
I liked the first one a lot, but if I have to see this one over and over on DVD, I'll have a really clean house because I'll have to find something else to do!

I liked and laughed but I think I would have changed it just a little. I would have cut back on a lot of the shower sleep over bit and had some more smaller scenes of interaction between Nick and Mia. You know, like sparing at dinner or meeting in kitchen for snacks or something. I thought they had a good chemistry that could have been developed more.

I agree with duckfan that more of Nicholas and Mia would've been good but that probably would've changed the tone of the movie and made it PG rather than G. I suppose it was more about promoting 'girl power' than a romance but I thought the guy was pretty hunky!

Love the P'ton reference, the first scene, graduation! This has been the summer of Princeton movies. Princess Bride II, Cindarella Story, Harold and Kumar, I hope that it makes girls want to go!

Like the first one considerably more, but not a stinker either. Good to hear Julie Andrews singing in a movie again!
