We just returned from a "VERY" dissapointing stay at POR. Too much to list, but in a nutshell, MOUSEKEEPING was horrible.
Anyways,
we booked our August 2007 trip for the POLY with FREE DINING. 10 nights with passes was $4,200. Trust me, I know the dining is FREE because we also inquired about POR.
Before the gal gave us the quote for POR, I wrote down what we paid in August 2006, room only and passes, it was $2,150. For August 2007, room and 10 days passes would have been $2,175. ( We stayed 11 nights in August 2006.)
By those numbers, I then knew that dining WAS FREE. So we went ahead and booked the POLY for the 10 nights. We added an 11th night room only with the AAA rate for $319.00.
As the majority of you know, this MUST be done while you are on property. If you are at all undecided, you must book and leave a $200 deposit. By doing this, you will then be free to change your reservation due to the "original" booking took place while you were on property during your stay.
I was always skeptical about the free dining issue. The way I was brought up was "YOU NEVER GET ANYTHING FOR FREE....YOU PAY FOR IT SOMEWHERE ELSE."
Any questions....feel free to ask.
