Just got back from 4 nights at Port Orleans Riverside, Magnolia Bend, Parterre Place, Room 9740 (river view). If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Yes, there was a horse and buggy ride from one resort (PO-R) to the other (PO-FQ), $30 for a half hour.

The boat ran to DDT every day, starting at 4. Boats ran regularly between the two resorts (PO-R and PO-FQ).

We are a couple (no kids), and found it lovely and peaceful! An easy walk to the bus stop (we used the one by the lobby). It was kinda far from the pool, but we're not big pool people. If there was a spa closer, I would probably have used it, but just couldn't be bothered walking over to it.

We really liked PO-R!

I am glad that you had a great time! I would love to do the horse and buggy ride!!

Did you request Parterre Place? I was thinking of doing that for our upcoming trip because it looks like the most lavishly themed of the mansions. Was that your impression?

They seemed to be themed pretty similarly, we had a really pretty fountain right outside, the "quiet" pool was quite close. Oak Manor was the building next to ours and the pool was next to that. I loved it, we didn't ask for Parterre specifically, just got assigned there, but it was so pretty, I'd definitely return there! Even if you didn't want a water view, a garden view would be pretty too. Have fun!
