just back from por and cr!

Just back from Por and cr. We've only stayed at the poly up until this year. We decided 2 try a mod. Big mistake if your used to a deluxe. We got to por and were a little disappointed in the room size for our family of 5. Okay, its only 6 days, we won't be in the room much. We then started 2 notice how dirty the room was! One of the head boards was very wobbly, I could litterally move it back and forth with one hand! There was BLOOD on the cloth shower curtain!!! A small dime sized spot, but none the less, human blood. There was also some red specks of something on the blow dryer and the dividing curtain. Bathtub grout dirty! I just felt not clean in that room. This was the last straw. We wanted 2 upgrade immediately! They did work with us and we upgraded 2 the cr with a credit of our 2 nights at por. We loved the cr and had a great vacation once we switched resorts. I would recomend the cr to anyone. I will never stay at a mod again!

Sorry you had less then wonderful experience with your room. Although it can be hit and miss at any resort. No one still should have to put up with a dirty room.

Sorry you did not enjoy your stay at POR. We love moderates and choose not to stay at a deluxe--not worth the money they charge. You will find dirty room, rude CM's, etc., anywhere you stay (we had them at our last stay at CR and when we visited the WL).
