It was very, very nice. DW and I surprised the girls with a fall break trip to WDW. Kind of a 'pre-trip' to the real trip next year. Had connecting rooms at POP, in the 60's section. Location was great even though it was non preferred. Had a lake view. DME was smooth, check in was a breeze, and the room was super clean with towel animals waiting...

I did see one thing in the shower on the first day... I looked down and saw a couple of hairs on the floor of the shower after I got in. But, upon further inspection, they were mine.;)

DD11 didn't feel well on day 1. She had to go back to POP and get a nap, and my wife hung out in the room. Mousekeeping found out my girl was sick and grabbed her 3 extra towel animals. They were wonderful. DW also noticed some guys outside the room scrubbing the exterior floors and walls. With big brushes. Scrubbing. She was very impressed. She's kind of a hotel snob so it's hard to impress her. BTW my daughter felt much better after a 3 hour nap was was able to rejoin us at the MK.

Overall, I can't say enough about POP. It's fantastic. It's not the Ritz Carlton, but IMO it is an excellent value for your money. Busses were great, CM's were nice, mousekeeping was on target... Highly recommend.

Thank you. I'd be happy to answer any questions.

We are going to Pop in a couple of weeks and are trying to figure out where the best place is. We also didn't pay for a Preferred Room so I was wondering, you said you were in the 60's building but had a lake view, was it noisy? Did you hear any noise from the pool? Would you choose that location again?

We'd like to have a quiet room, and a short walk to the buses and main building.

I think the lake views have to be the quietest, away from the pool. I noticed a lot of the preferred rooms faced the pool, which is good for a short walk but seemed like they'd be loud. So I just went with 'non-preferred'. Our room location was perfect in my opinion...

Could you tell me how far of a walk it was to the Main building and buses from your room?
