Short and to the point:
Polynesian the good: got our room request, wonderful CM's, towel animals
from mousekeeper, quiet pool not crowded, fireworks from beach
amazing, GF health club fantastic and very close, got mini fridge delivered in matter of minutes, resort in great shape and beautiful as always.
the bad: Volcano pool packed, had to wait in check-in line 2nd time
to get room assignment, tiki torches not lit at all.
Parks the good: MNSSHP so much
fun, everything clean and in good shape.
the bad: crowded but fast pass takes care of that,
Dining the good: dining plan was fantastic very convenient and so much food, Jiko and Boma fantastic, Chef Mickey's a great experience (got a hug and kiss from Minnie), Teppanyaki great time, some good counter service meals.
the bad: some counter services not very good, San Angel Inn great food and atmosphere but felt incredibly rushed.
Overall we had a wonderful time, very relaxing and great fun to boot, 98% of CM's were fantastic, of course you will always have a few less than happy. However, flame me if you wish, but the incidence of out of control kids seems to be on the increase. I know they're excited, but Mom and Dad just let them go friggin' nutz, like the 5 yr. old little boy at Teppanyaki, standing on his chair, hovering over the 500 degree cooking surface, while oblivious parents continue to enjoy their meal until the chef tells the little boy to be careful. I was just waiting for the kid to take a header onto the grill. Believe me, this is one of many we experienced througout WDW. We're now looking to do December 2006 to experience the xmas decor.
