We just got back from a 4 night cruise on the Wonder and 4 nights at the Poly. Check in was quick and easy, and the nice CM informed us that we had been UPGRADED to concierge (from garden view)! 
I was thrilled! We were in Hawaii on the 2nd floor. The room was big (especially compared to the cruise cabin!) and always clean. We had turn down service and morning make-the-bed service every day, complete with mints! We did take advantage of the concierge breakfast and snacks a few times, but honestly, I can't imagine paying the difference for it. The concierge desk was always nice and helpful, but the times we called about changing ADR times or booking something at the last minute, they never were able to help us, so I assume they have no extra "pull".
The resort itself was beautiful and we really have nothing bad to say about it. The MAIN reason we choose the Poly was to be on the monorail, but honestly we found ourselves waiting for and on the monorail longer than we anticipated, and with the stops along the way to and from MK, it wasn't as convenient as we had thought it was going to be. We actually preferred to take the boat. So for OUR needs, the Poly wasn't worth the extra money, although we enjoyed the stay. I think in the future we will stick with WL.
