Tahiti 1st floor rm 1032. Could see WISHES from bed! IT WAS ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!! From 11:30 am checkin to 1:00 late checkout and everything in between AAA+

I've stayed at the Poly 8 times but never in concierge. Can you tell me what I'll love about concierge that I didn't get in the regular rooms?I can't wait to go!

dylansdad.. welcome home.

I remember you from months ago planning your trip and I believe concierge was a surprise for your wife?? and your son wanted a third floor room?

I hope you are doing a big report with more details? I am sure we would all love to hear about everything.

>>^..^<<

Excuse my ignorance, but Tahiti is the LV Concierge bldg.? We will be there in a week. Please, tell me all about your stay.:chat:

Tahiti is currently the LVC bldg while Hawaii is under rehab ( doesnt look like they are too close to being finished either) Very peaceful over there

Wife was very surprised! We left our curtains open the whole stay. 1st floor rm was ready when we got there so we went with it. We surprised dylan too: told him he was gonna be a big brother!! Will post full report

Ptarbay- its like you have your own staff-everytime i would stand around and take in the scene- staff would ask me if i needed anything. Rooms are big! Mousekeeping and turndown were excellent! Food was plentiful and great. Never ran out of anything. Other guests and their children were all very nice. Very relaxing feel

oh yeah, nothing seems to be a problem just ask. Kathy at concierge desk went online and printed out boarding passes for flight home. DW wanted some chocolate milk one night, no problem. Asked for late checkout, no problem(didnt even have to beg)
HALLOWEEN PARTY WAS AWESOME!!

Dylansdad--glad you had a great time--and Congratulations!! What a great place to give your son the news!!

Thanks-it was hard keeping the big secret. After we told him, dylan called home and told everybody(nobody knew)

So glad you had a good time! We'll be heading back there soon and REALLY looking forward to the trip! :) Do they still have the pineapple bread?!?

And congratulations on your other news! :)

Jill

;) We're off to the Polynesian LV Concierge Friday. I hope we made the right choice. We are staying at the Tahiti since Hawaii doesn't open until the next day. They will have the concierge facilities in both place for a few days and we will remain at Tahiti for our four night stay. I just hope that the amenities will stay the same even though Hawaii will be open also.

YUUM! pineapple bread was goood

Hawaii bldg did not look anywhere near complete

How were the weather and crowds? I'm planning my next trip for this time next year.:bounce:

High 88 and low of 70- sun and clouds everyday- Humid- Srinkles here and there(missed em all)- No need for coats or pants-all pools were warm

Crowds were not bad- we avoided EMH- Spectro was a zoo as was monday at MK(columbus day)

BB,TL, and DD were empty

ESPNzone was packed

Thanks for the report. SO you liked the first floor. I use to love the upper floors but now I love the ground level and being able to walk out.

Actually Hawaii is right on schedule and they finished puting the stuff into the rooms last week. I just got an email from the staff last Wed and they think they will be open on the 17th or earlier.

Thanks again for the report.

Aloha

Steve

Oliviaclare: How long are you going to be @ the Poly? We will be arriving on the 19th.

Thanks for the update Tikiman. Glad to know Hawaii will be ready for our arrival.

dylansdad: How was Wishes?

Really liked the 1st floor. Got used to the heavy feet from above. Hawaii still surrounded by the big wall-lotsa painters there and tile guys- no sod in yet, lotsa mud. Some furniture in though. Got to meet Tara on her day off. Might need your help with pics

That's great to hear...I haven't seen him for over a year! Although on one trip in the past year we saw a duck missing one foot in the little pond by the exit to It's a Small World. Wondered if he flew over to the park for the parade or something.:D
