Just back from Poly concierge

I have about a million questions, but I will only bother you with a few!

How were the food offerings at various times of the day?

Were you able to get a bottle of beer in the concierge lounge during the day or only from 5-7? (If you even like beer!)

How was check-in?

Did you have a great trip?????

Clombardi- we were there a couple weeks ago. You can ask for a beer at any hour past 11am. The food offerings were great. The first night we stuffed ourselves with spring rolls and there was a noodle type of dish that was so so. The second night there was pulled pork but we skipped that and the third night they had make your own cesar salad as well as chicken pieces. In the morning, there's a typical continental breakfast...assorted pastries, bagels, juices and cereals. In the afternoon it's simply cookies, pb&j, goldfish, and some nuts. In he evening there were a few wines and sweets.

All in all, we had great service. Check in was a little slow at first but once DF started chatting it up it was smooth sailing. Concierge also went way out of there way to work wiht DF to make my birthday celebration extra special :goodvibes

Thank you so much for your information! Glad you had a great birthday!

By the way, what floor were you on? Were you happy with it?

We had an OK trip, but that was due to the weather, not the concierge experience. The food offerings were good throughout the day. In the morning, they had cheese danish (which were delicious), bagels, croissants, cold cereal, cinnamon rolls, juices, tea, coffee, milk. During the afternoon, they had cookies, candies, trail mix, pop, juices. You could ask for milk, chocolate milk, or juice boxes. Around dinnertime, they always offered cheeses, veggies and dip, fresh pineapple, crackers, and the "entree" changed every day. We had vegetable lo mein and spring rolls, pulled pork sandwiches (fantastic), mac and cheese, and sushi, also one night there were caesar salads with chicken. For kids there were always PBJ sandwiches. In the evenings, there were various desserts and wines and cordials. You could ask for a beer just about any time- I know they had Miller Lite because that's what DH likes, but I'm not too sure about other brands.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Mousekeeping was great too. They missed our turn down service one night, but that was no big deal. We had a room on the 3rd floor kind of close to the elevator. Next time I would ask for a room closer to the other end of the hall because people are pretty inconsiderate when coming home at night. Most everyone had to pass our room to get to their's and they were pretty noisy.

Hope that helps!
