We had a fabulous time! We were in room 1520, a garden view, and it was nice. Our room was clean and we didn't have any problems there. One time, later in the week, our toilet didn't flush completely so I called maintenance and they fixed it right away. The staff was great from our arrival to departure. They were friendly and were always willing to help with anything we needed.

The food in the lounge was great and Chef Dick is really friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast as well as the cordials at night. The view of Wishes was great, too! :cool1: We only made it to the dinner hour one night, but it was great too. The last morning, my 12yo son said he wasn't feeling well and we thought it was because he was tired and had eaten so much junk. Well, we went to the lounge for our last breakfast and my son was eating a little cereal...well it didn't go too good! :guilty: He got sick all over the table and our family! The lady working the lounge helped me clean it up right away and gave us some gingerale and crackers.

I'm sorry if any of you were in the lounge at the time! :o

My husband, who is not a Disney lover like me, said this was the best trip yet. :earseek: He saw the value in concierge level and is already talking about going back! :cheer2: We definitely had a great experience at the Poly concierge!

Glad you enjoyed it! This is the third good Polynesian Concierge report in a few days. Seems like everyone's really experiencing Disney magic with the Concierge staff.

I thought the view of Wishes there was amazing. Especially on MVMCP evenings. What a great show.

It may be the third good report here but I have gotten emails form a few who visited the Polynesian for the first time and said they won't go anywhere else now. They were worried about going because of the few bad reports but they have no idea where these bad reports are coming from. They saw nothing wrong with the resort.

Thanks for the report. This is more of what I hear every day from people who have just visited.

There are going to be bad experiences at the Polynesian and I believe most people are honest about their reports but there are some here that just love to put it down or jump on posts that are about the Polynesian but the repeat guests numbers say it all.

Glad you had such a good visit.

Aloha

Ditto Tikiman:

We have stayed at the GF RPC, Yacht Club and CR concierge before deciding on the Poly Concierge last October. I echoed many of the statements from other recent Poly Conc guests in that we will be returning only to the Poly. The value, service, pools, location and grounds had me asking myself why I had not choosen the Poly sooner?? We will be returning in May and again in October of 2005 and the kids keep asking me if we are staying at Chef Dick's hotel! It felt like a vacation within a trip to WDW by staying at the Poly.

My kids asked last night why Chef Dick wasn't serving dessert! :earboy2:

I agree, it was a trip completely different from the ones in the past. We'd even stayed at the Poly in 2002, but not as concierge guests. My husband is the kind to look for the value in everything and after analyzing things, he found it at the Poly concierge. He went back to work yesterday and a guy was giving him a hard time about the amount of money we must have spent and saying that we could have saved a bunch to stay at the local Ramada, etc. My husband told him in no uncertain terms that we got our money's worth and that the monorail didn't stop at the Ramada. Most importantly, he told the guy that Chef Dick wasn't at the Ramada!

My husband has now come over to the Disney side! :cheer2:

We didn't stay in concierge, but were first time visitors to the Poly in November. We loved absolutely every thing about this resort, and had a 100% positive experience. The theming is terrific at every level, and our family LOVED the Poly, and want to stay there again for our next trip.

The report is practically its own AK with rabbits and ducks everywhere. The Volcano slide was as good as any ride I went on at Disney. The food was uniformly awesome. Really, really well done - a great place for families with young children and grown ups alike. My wife said she would pay to stay at the Poly even if it were not attached to WDW. It was that relaxing.
