Just back this afternoon from our 5 day trip. We arrived on Thurs 8/30 and left today Monday 9/3. Our group included myself, DH, DD6, DD8. We stayed at the POP Century, this was our 1st and last stay here. We are DVC members but in order to get free dining you had to book a package so we figured we would give it a try.

Check-in at POP was the fastest check-in I have ever experienced at Disney. I went ahead to check-in while DH was getting the luggage from the town car and by the time he was walking in I was walking out. It was hot (95 and humid) but it wasn't too bad you did get use to it.

Made our way over to the 80's building dragging our luggage across the parking lot up to our room to find out our room had 1 king bed, not the 2 double beds which we needed. We called the front desk and said someone would be over to change our room and keys. About 20 mins later they came and we changed rooms put our luggage in and off to Epcot we went.

Day 1
Bus ride was fine, but we still love staying at the BWV and just walking into Epcot.
Off to Sunshine Food Court for a quick lunch, very good as always so much to choose from. I had the chicken ceasar salad, choc. cake and soda. DH had the chicken, mashed potatoes and carrots (very lg portion), strawberries with whip cream and soda. The girls both had mac and cheese with corn bread and grapes 1 apple juice, 1 powerade. (Now its about 330p)

Walked onto Living w/the Land and circle of Life. Soarin we did another day as it was a 40 min wait. We went over to FP Test Track, then walked onto Mission Space (5-10 min wait). Nemo and figment turtle talk were walk ons and all of this was about 5pm on Thursday. Went back and rode TT and was able to FP again for later. We made out way over to the countries. Did the Mexico ride and Norway. Walked around some of the countries and had a snack. At this point it is about 8pm as we were coming off of the Norway ride and the line for the Princess Dinner was out the door and pure craziness, at this hour I did not see one happy little princess most were crying or sleeping in their carriages.
We went back and did our FP on test track then made our way to the front of the park to catch the bus. Wanted to get the girls to bed as tomorrow night is the Princess Party.
It took FOREVER for the bus to come. Illuminations is now going on. We waited a good 25 mins for this bus. Back to the room and off the bed we all went.

DAY 2
We are off to MGM and then the princess party for the night. The line for the bus was sooo long (for MGM) (830am right now for opening 9a) it would of taken us at least 2 buses before we would of even got on and with that we all would of been standing if we made it on. (again love the BW as you can walk to MGM). So we went and got a cab and within 15 mins we were at the gate and walking in. Saw the end of the pre-show/opening show and headed off to RnR. We FP that then we got in line to ride it. Don't remember the wait time but we were lined up against the building outside (Maybe 15 wait) not long at all. This was my DD6 first time riding it. We were there this past Jan and she was not tall enough so she could not wait to ride it. Once off the ride she informed us that she hated it....but she loves Mission Space (orange side) how can you figure kids out. Did TOT, the Little Mermaid, The Great Movie Ride then we had 11:10 Sci Fi ressie. So did a bathroom run and went over there. At this hour the Restaurant was quiet. Got seated right away. Our 1st time here, restaurant was cool neat things to look at, the car you eat in was different in a good way but very dark you could not really see what you were eating. I had the BBQ chicken with spainch dip, and milk shake and ice cream sundae for dessert. It was good but ice cream was a soft serve type and that did not make for a good sundae but that was ok cuz I was full anyways. DH had the BLT soup (good), Burger and cheese cake for dessert. both girls had Mac and cheese 1 soup (tomato) 1 salad and ice cream for dessert.
After lunch did Sounds dangerous and Indiana Jones. Once we got out of Indiana Jones it was getting really warm so time for a swim. We left the park about 130p or so. It was starting to get a bit busy but alot were looking for places for lunch.
Will write later about our Princess Party on the 31st (had a great time)
Also will talk about Cinderalla Gala Feast, Mexico rest (name of it is escaping my mind at the moment) and the Plaza rest.
Any questions please feel free to ask
