Just back from our first trip to dlp 2nd - 6th June...

We ate at plaza gardens on our first evening and it was our worst meal! Didn't rate it at all and it was packed even at 9:30pm, tables not cleared and slow bringing drinks etc.
The only place we had jacket potatoes was the sequoia hotel buffet - they were yummy! Said to hubby how pleased I was to see them!

Think I have walked into Plaza Gardens twice now, and come away not fancying the food.

Never got close to the Sequoia Lodge so that explains why I haven't seen them I guess.
Probably because I try not to walk through the Village.

Sounds a bit over the top referring to baked/jacket potatoes - just would make a nice change from fries.

Wow sounds like a great time at DLP - your kids must have had so much fun there with the character meals, and especially for your daughter with the princess makeover! Though the character scrums sounds really scary - am glad you found your daughter quickly!

As for over 7's free - they had an offer earlier this year (book by 31 Jan 2013) for 2 nights free, "combinable with free for kids under 12 for arrivals from 1st January to 27th March 2013"...
