Just Back from OLCC

Hi all! We just returned from Orange Lake Country Club on Sun. We won this on Skyauction so we paid $316 for the week. The units were very large and comfortable. We had an older unit and were very pleased with the upkeep. Everything was very clean and there was everything you would need in the kitchen. The only thing we found to be a problem, which probably could have been remedied had we called earlier was the the step-down from the dining room into the living room. If you have a toddler or a creeper please ask for a unit without this step down. Our 11 mo. old daughter nearly got hurt a few times because of this. Didn't do much at the resort, so I really can't speak to the amenities. We did order pizza a couple of times from the restaurant and it was excellent. There is a Publix just down the road. Actually the rear entrance of the resort is at the Publix. If anyone has any questions, please ask and I will try to answer. Mary

Said it before.... We also won from Skyauction and thought it was great. If you do a search you will find my review and and lots of questions answered.

There is a ton to do. I am always amazed at Disneyphiles who can spend 12 hours per day at the parks and a hotel room is for sleep and sleep only. My spouse hits the wall after about 6 hours max.

If my wife's spouse did that, she'd find another spouse!!! At least she has me convinced.

Did the resort provide you with towels, or do you have to bring your own? I got one of skyauction for this coming week!

Towels in room are not replaced but there are plenty and they are huge and comfortable. You have a washer and dryer to use. There are plenty of towels at the pool. They are good but no where near the qulaity in the room.
