Just back from OKW!

We spent the first 2 nights of our trip at OKW in a 1 bedroom prior to this trip we'd only stayed in studio rooms. Wow those rooms are HUGE! We made no requests other then a non smoking room and we were assigned building 14, room 1411, perfect location, beautiful view! The room was in perfect condition and the kids said the sofa bed was really comfortable.

We really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the huge lanai, it was very nice. The main pool wasn't open yet so it was hard for us to get a true feel for the resort but I can see why so many people love it so much.

We'll definitely return again sometime. Any questions, just ask!

The following 2 nights we spent at the Polynesian on our points and we have no regrets we loved it there too. My review of the Polynesian can be found on the resorts board.

Glad you liked OKW so much. We love it also. What type of view did you have from 1411? Did you get to Gurgling Suitcase for a Chiquita Cool-Aid?

Our view was of the golf course and a lovely fountain, it was very pretty.

We didn't get to try out the new slide because it wasn't open yet but they were filling the pool when we were there or at least it sounded like they were.

Not sure what a Gurgling Suitcase for a Chiquita Cool-Aid is so no we didn't do that. LOL.

Gurgling Suitcase is the pub on the pier right next to the snack bar. I haven't tried the Chiquita Cool-Aid though (that'll be on my "to-do" list next time).
You were only there for 2 days so I'm sure you didn't have enough time to explore the resort. Glad you had a nice stay !

Thanks for the info about the Gurgling Suitcase.We'll definitely check it out (and the Chiquita Kool-Aid) on our next trip home to OKW.......Can't wait!
