Hi Everyone!
We just returned on Wednesday night from a 5 night stay in an OKW one bedroom, a 2 night stay in a VB one bedroom and a 3 night stay in a WLV Studio.
These were all new experiences with us because we own at BWV.
We loved the spaciousness of OKW. We stayed in unit 3725 (golf view). Although I was hoping for a water view, we couldn't have asked for more quiet and peaceful location. We cannot comment on bus transportation because we rented a car for the week.
I didn't have many expectations regarding Vero Beach because we are from the east coast, but I ended up falling in love with the resort once we arrived. The beach was small, but the sunrises and sunsets were absolutely amazing. We stayed in room 1412, and although I was a little disappointed about being on the first floor, the foliage around our room gave us a lot of privacy. The only thing the room lacked was storage space in bathroom areas. We were suprised to find there were no cabinets.
I always wish I was back at WDW once we arrive home. What I find amazing is that this year I am wishing we were back at VB!
We ended our stay in 4539 (a woods view room) at WLV, our fist experience in a studio as DVC members. I was worried that we would not be satisfied with the room since we have been spoiled with one bedrooms since we joined DVC, however, we fell in love with the accomodiations and the resort. It lived up to all our expectations, and we found the studio to be the perfect size room for a shorter stay.
We also toured the BCV and thought the resort was absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect vacation, and while we wouldn't hesitate to stay in any of these resorts again, we found ourselves homesick for the Boardwalk area. Can't wait to return in January!
Please let us know if you have any questions.
