Just finished 26 hour drive home from Canaveral. Cruise was MAGICAL. Cruising with teens was great, we only saw them for dinner and shows and to wake them at noon the next day. Made for lots of R&R for us. Met Beth, Penny, Chris and Tibbles at Promenade on Sunday and Floridaminnie at the theatre one night (DW recognized her). Where was everyone else? Weather was a little windy but great. Had a light rain at Castaway but that just cleared out the beach and left us alone at Serenity Bay until 4 o'clock. Golden Mickeys was great but Dreams is still our favourite--saw it at 2 and again at 6. Cried both times. LOL. More later but gotta go unpack and get some sleep, back to work tomorrow.

Welcome back and Happy New Year. I'm glad you have a wonderful cruise-and a break from the teens as well.

Can't wait to read your trip report!

cant wait for report too but really love to see the pictures and happy new year

welcome home... Post more info when you can. You guys were the last Eastern before we leave on Friday!!!

We returned last night from the NYE cruise. We had a great time but boy am I tired. We completely missed the DIS meet my DD was in the Mickey pool and had disscovered that she loved the waterslide by the time we got her out and then remembered the DIS meet it was way to late.
We had a good serving team(Floridaminnie --Sorry about your experience--I was reading about it on the other thred) We ahd the APL rotation and Raman was our server and Tomislav was his assitant. They really did a nice job. Our kids slept through several of the dinners. Our dd is 3( she will be 4 in March) and she loved the club. She chose the club over the islands except for Castaway Cay. We used Flounders several times for DS who is 5 1/2 months. We had a terrific expereince with them. The staff was excellent. Tracy, Natasha and Julie were exceptional!! I did not worry a bit about leaving ds with them but boy am I thankful I don't have there job.
We really enjoyed Golden Mickey's and Dreams although I was so tired I could barely stay awake trhough Dreams. My DD does think there should be a Golden Minnie though!!
We had dinner and brunch in palo and both were excellent.
There were several things we never got a chance to do--never made it to Cove Cafe, pools other than the Mickey one, never saw a movie, only laid in a lounge chair once for about an hour. I dobn't know where the time goes. We rebooked for next year to get teh incentive but I'm pretty sure we are going to have to change our reservation. I asked the girl doing the rebooking when the rest of 2005 dates were coming and if California was an option. She said that a decision/announcement will be made by end of Feb and that she couldn't wait to find out what they are going to decide either. The NYE party was nice. Boy, was the atrium packed. I'm sure I am forgeting alot I'll try to do a trip report later. Any questions, just ask.
