Just Back from Nov. 6--3 day cruise

We just got home from our 3 day cruise. It was WONDERful! I am so depressed because I don't want to go to work tomorrow
I want to get BACK ON THE SHIP!!!! But my dh wouldn't let me stay he drug me off kicking and screaming

We saw the golden mickey's the first night and disney dreams the last night. Both were great!

We ate at Palo the first night. The sailaway party and the tropical deck party both were rained out but the weather was beautiful for castaway cay day. Trip report to come with pictures from our small dismeet.

Can't wait to see those pictures! Sounds like it rained- was it warm while in port? We're going for our first cruise 12/4 and can't wait- good thing you had a good CC day!

That's the same cruise that we are booked on for next year!!! I'm so excited and have almost a year to wait! Did you book another cruise while on board? What were they offering as a rebook?

We're on the same cruise as you mom2of2 ! Really looking forward to it, as our last cruise was the 4 day and we found it way too short.

Sorry your parties were rained out but glad CC day made up for that minnieluvzmickey----looking forward to the pics !

Yes I got the drink name and had one!

It is called...........(drum rollll)

Deep Blue Sea The bar tender said the lemon concoction is just a regular sweet and sour bar mix. I really enjoyed it!


The weather was very warm. It didn't rain the whole time only when we left port canaveral and friday night when the tropical deck party was supposed to start. Funny how the rain knew when we were getting ready to party. It didn't spoil our fun though we just moved the parties inside.

Hmph... I thought it was just two names, but I'm SOOO happy you found out!! It was yummy right? I want to make them my next drinking evening... frozen and slushy too!

Yes it was good.....frozen and slushy would be even better. I'm sure that is the name. It was up on the board at the serenity bay bar. The last drink on the list. I made dh write it down.

We were also just on the November 6th 3 day cruise. They are offering the $200 stateroom credit and 10% off on the cruise price for a 7 day cruise if you book during the cruise. Don't know what the offer is for less than 7 days.

LovECriseS: I am anxious to hear from you how your Disney cruise compares to the other cruises you have taken. We just returned from our first cruise (3 day Disney Wonder) and had a great time but we have nothing to compare it to.

Yes the cruise was very good however comparing it to a 7-day which I've been on two my favorite cruise was the 7-day western. The wonder had some differences from the magic but I knew mt way arround and rarely noticed any changes other tan Route 66/Beat Street and Lumieres/Tritons. That was really all I noticed except I do know the thing about the Cat 7 rooms having larger windows or something like that. Golden Mickeys was great and the entire atmosphere built around the show was nice. They had little movie posters in every stateroom about it all the cast members had little button and that was all cool.

WE had a secret porthole room and it was realyl nice compared to my expectations even though it was the same size room as the 6's I've previously been in. I just though it would be more obstruvted but from what I've heard we had the Best SPH room because ours is the least obstructed and is not connecting. So if you are offered 5520 take it.

As my mom (NYGiantsRule!) said we rebooked on our cruise for a 7-day in '04 however we're going to move it after they announce the '05 dates to sometime in August '05. The $200 credit and the 10% off were deffinatly the best part of booking whil on a cruise so If you are considering gonig on another while on a cruise pay the Cruise desk a visit.
