In the origional post, he didn't say the guy was up in people's faces, just running his foul mouth...to me there's a difference. People sometimes use curse words even when they're not drunk and disorderly. I was just trying to understand the situation...okay.

This could've (and I'm sure it does) happen anywhere...not just the All Stars. Anywhere that sells alcohol is from time to time, going to have someone over indulge. That's just the nature of the beast.

The reason I asked if the OP complained is, that I'm sure CM's try to cut thier guests (and yes, we have to assume that these people were guests too) a little (not a lot, just a little) slack when these things happen....at least I hope they would. And for all we know, the manager may have called security and they just hadn't gotten there yet.

i dont think it really matters what color or what a person looks like ethnic wise...give me a break!....disney is not all about you and your kids ect...people do go to have fun and unwind..maybe get tipsy..so what???...get over it!

WOW, just got home from work and saw all this. did not mean to stir all this up just expressing some disapointment. tell you what though, just go back to my original post and everywhere i used the word BLACK change it to the word TALL that should solve all the problems. as for those who are beating the drum the hardest, what i have often found is, and you will need to know your Shakespear for this, "methinks the lady doth protest to much"

I don't think you should have used the term "tall" in your post. After all, what does that have to do with anything? I'm short and I feel as though you are picking on someone of a different stature them myself and I'm not going to stand for this any longer!! What is this world coming to if you have to describe a person to get the whole picture of something? Why can't we all just use ESP and KNOW exactly what the poster is saying without resorting to such horrible slurs on peoples heights. Certainly we cannot help if we are born to be tall or short, fat or thin, smart or stupid, straight or gay or black or white. I am really disapointed in the turn this thread has taken. Where oh where is that board monitor when we really need him?

So how was Riverside? I've never stayed there and probably never will. Tell me why I should?

ive never stayed at the poly, cant afford it. riverside has a deluxe feel for a moderate price. its a bit spread out but that gives a feel of privicy. the themeing (sic) isnt quite as specific but the main pool is huge as is the pool bar and playground area. it lacks the breathtaking view of many of the deluxe resorts and does not have room service exept for pizza delivery. there are six other pools besides ol man island and very few "parking lot views" i miss the balcony but for fifty to one hundred a day less you get used to it. the full service restaurant "boatwrights" is wonderful and the piano guy in the large lounge is good. sorry about the duplicate post a while ago i did not think the first one took. does anyone know how to get rid of the countdown clock once you are back?

Black...tall...white...British.....are all adjectives used to describe something. I never knew these words were offensive. If black was used in a positive situation would everyone be so up in arms.
I have been described as an Italian woman and I never found it offensive. Boy it takes alot of work these days to be politically correct.

Poor behavior is rude no matter what the skin tone. People of all colors and sizes get hammered and obnoxious where alcohol is involved.

I guess I would have just brushed this stuff off and moved to another area. People get drunk...unless they were being threatening it isn't a big deal. Some people are just obnoxious. It can happen at any hotel. Management can't control how each and every guest behaves on a moment to moment basis.

I almost stayed at POR. Mainly for the boat to Downtown Disney. What kept me from it is when I go on vacation I really like to experience a different enviroment. The southern theming, although I love it, reminds me too much of home. I used to live in an apartment building that looked like the mansions.LOL I'll probably still stay there someday though, but there are others I want to check out first.
