Just Back from Member Homecoming!

I know I needed some down time each day before heading to EPCOT & the MK (knowing I would probably be there until midnight) - a nap, a rest , a swim, whatever. I cannot imagine going almost all day & well into the night without an afternoon break, so I can only imagine how tired a 4 year old was in the evening.

I don't remember long lines for either TT or MS. We left the Illuminations/dessert area shortly after Dee Cee Vee started entertaining us. I was too hot & needed some space, so we left & headed towards the rides. Before getting in ride lines we enjoyed more desserts & the cold drinks, taking photos with characters, talking to CMs, etc. We just about walked right onto each ride (except TT stopped for several minutes, so we got "slowed" down).

We were there, and thought it was definitely worth it. As others have said, there were some glitches, and things that will probably be done differently in the future, but I am certainly glad that I went.

I really think this thread needs to be two separate threads: one for those who went and one for those who did not. Both groups are certainly entitled to their opinions, but if I were doing a search in the future, I'd certainly be looking for the opinions of those who attended, not those who did not.
;)

To all that this may concern. Everyone has a right to an OPINION. And I for one think that Disney is a CASH COW type of business. Like any business they are out to make money. They do not care whose it is. Build it and they will come with money in hand. For example, we stayed and watch Fantasmic at MGM. We were planning to go back to the resort and make dinner. Instead we had hotdogs with cheese, chips and pop for four. Grand total 42.00 dollars. You can not tell me that was not a CASH COW dinner. I can buy a case of hotdogs with buns, case of chips, a number 10 can of cheese, and all the pop to go with it for that amount. That many things are over priced. Beyond just making a profit. To conclude, as I stated before, “Everyone has a right to an OPINION” even yours. So we as a family go to Disney because we enjoy what they have to offer. We have made Disney, "Our Home Away From Home." And we save like most people to feed the COW. :o

I was just wondering, after the dvc cruise did the opinions about the cruise last this long / compared to MH ?
