Just back from MAGIC KINGDOM!!

I just got back today from Magic Kingdom. I had soo much fun in both US and MK. I did everything I wanted to do.I did Stitch and was pretty disappointed, i didn't think it was that great. also some kid had a crown/hat that had different colored lights on it that flashed colors during the entire time when it was supposed to be pitch black, i was mad at the parents that didnt turn it off becauses it really ruined the experience. I was also happy that CoP was open cause i love it! I didn't wait for just about anything, not due to lack of crowds, but that i got fastpasses for everything. It was also the first time that I was there for the opening of the park when the train rolls in with all of the characters, i seriously almost cried. We ate at liberty tree which was pretty good. any questions about anything?

Am always impressed when people go to WDW during a busy time and say that they got to do everything they wanted by using FP wisely.

What I don't get is what you do if your FP time is pretty far out. You can't get another FP and the other rides are busy, too, right?

Do you reject a FP if the time's way out and go for another FP ride with a shorter time out?

I have had my lime green ribbons on my backpack for all my trips. We have yet to run into any other Diser's. Just the luck of the draw I guess.
For us we use FP for rides that are going to have long waits. The use the inbetween time to catch other rides w/o long lines (like TTA), shop, eat, visit characters. Having a plan, but being flexible are the 2 best defenses against large crowds at Disney.
