Just back from less than magical BWV stay!!

Let me get this straight. If you want to go into the pool and keep your chair you have to take it into the pool with you. Looks like common sense is missing by the CM. I think I would have asked the CM for two things. Another chair and a manager.[...]
Well, that's one extreme ;) - the other is folks who show up at 7AM, put towels on a dozen chairs, then show up as a group at 1PM. Disney needs to find a happy medium.

Yes if they want to spend the money. You replace the chairs with those you can label with numbers. Each guest gets a wrist band and numbered medallion to correspond to the number on the chair. It could be pinned to the suit or worn around the neck. If the chair is occupied when you return to it just go to a CM for resolution. The CM being the third party you do not have to confront anyone and the only feathers to be ruffled is the person taking your chair.

When you leave you have to turn in the medallion. A pain in the butt. Any other ideas??

LOL!! Glad to see some can have some humor with this topic instead of getting into a heated debate.

Yes, there should be a happy medium but where??

Nowadays, we do not spend much time in the parks and spend all day at the pool..............we arrive early (9 am) and leave later (4 PM). Yes, we are nice and toasty but enjoy our R & R time at the pool. We do spend alot of time in the water too!!! I will just make sure for my 2 wk. stay in the summer that I keep an eye on my chair while in the pool at all times so I can jump out and rescue it from the 'chair nazi'. LOL!!

I also like the point penalty for those smoking in a non smoking room. However, the previous guest were not DVC members and not on points!!! UGH!!!
