Take a sweater! I cannot stress this enough. I didn't take any long pants and I froze. The head waiter actually brought me a tablecloth to wrap up in one night.
We had an inside stateroom, cat 11. I thought the room was just fine. I (at first) was glad that I hadn't paid the extra cost for a verendah that we didn't need. I was gloating "those people probably paid $2000 more than me and we all get see the same things "
Anyway, next time I will be paying the extra $ for a verendah. For the view? NO! So that I can open the door and bring some warmth into my stateroom. We had our thermostat on as warm as it would go. You could have hung meat in there.
I would go in the bathroom, shut the door, and turn on the blow dryer to warm up.
Anyway, this was our first cruise and won't be our last. I am in love with cruising now. We went to Universal and Disney first (I am a big thrill ride person). The cruise was just kind of an afterthought. Not anymore. For our next vacation, I am not even thinking of theme parks. It's all about cruising.
