Just Back from Home...BWV

Just back last nite. Had a great stay. Bus service was wonderful. They had a CM doing an impromptu check on where people were going during the 8a - 9a hour. He said the info would be analyzed to see if changes were needed. The boardwalk was mobbed in the evenings. A lot of activity. The rehab is moving along. The scaffolding is still up around the grand villas and also on the back half of the villas around Luna Park. Our room was great. Close to the elevator and in good shape. My only complaint was I think housekeeping could've done a better job in the kitchen area, but that's it.

Welcome Back!! Glad to hear you had a nice time at the BW!! How did you find the crowds in the parks?

Sounds like you had a great trip! We are going "home" in October and can't wait. Do you know how long the bus ride is to MK and AK from BW? Did people seem to have a tough time getting strollers on and off? Just curious. Thanks!

We also just returned from "home" the bus runs every fifteen minutes to MK and it takes about fifteen minutes.

The crowds in the parks were very tolerable. MK was the worst, but it usually is anyway!

That sounds encouraging that the busing was not horrible to MK & AK!
Did you find a big wait at those parks to get BACK to BW?
I have been dreading waiting for those buses at both ends to share with 5 other resorts.
How about the valet service if you used it?
I am hoping it hasn't become a big hassle and ID search.

No problem with waits returning from the parks. We didn't have a car so I can't help with the valet question.

Valet was no problem as all you had to do was show your room key to state that you were DVC so there wa no charge. The bus was not a problem at all even with my nephew who is Autistic and does not handle waits well. We did try the driving over ourselves once but by the time you got to the car and it was hot so we waited a couple of minutes to cool it off we could have been on the air conditioned bus.
We did get off at the Yacht club once and walked back to BW which was nice to investigate.
