Just back from GF

Just got back last night from our trip (12/3 - 12/10). Got a room in Conch on the marina - 7319 (I know Cali will ask). We were much more pleased with housekeeping than we were last year (there were some obvious missed areas in our room before we arrived last year). The decorations were great as always. We were a little disappointed last year with the all around "feel" and service level at GF. But they rebounded for us on this trip. We felt the special magic again being there.

Welcome home! I just got back from the GF on 12/5. Wish I was still there! I agree--found the service great and the decorations were incredible.

Glad to hear you had a great time! By the way, how was the bus to DTD? That is always our biggest disappointment. The wait always seems to take forever.

I'm curious how you found the bus there, too. This year, we bit the bullet and rented a car. It made all the difference in the world. With a short trip, we didn't want to waste an hour here and there trying to get places by bus.

We have aGV boked for Jan and I am thinking of "requesting" in Conch Key, alice theme. Was that by chance the room type you had?

Conch Key and Big Pine Key both have the Alice theme.

Regarding the question on the bus to DTD...

We rented a car, so we don't have any idea on the bus service. I'm a pretty impatient person - when I want to go I want to go. So what's another couple hundred bucks when you're already dropping a few grand. It's vacation after all.
